Travel: To The Most Colorful Destinations
The dreary fog and gray in San Francisco has me longing for color – and this couldn’t have popped up across my computer screen at a better time – World’s 25 most colorful cities and some of my favorites:

Had I paid attention to the fact, fashion is a recycle of trends, I would have stored all of my clothes from the 90’s until it was back in style. But instead, I was too glad to get rid of it all – hating the style back then. Well now, some of those pieces are back and strangely enough, have been added to my wish list for when we experience the San Francisco version of Fall, also known as Indian Summer. {photo source}
I had a very early start this morning. Meaning my dog woke up at one in the morning and just would not go back to sleep. So by four, I was up getting ready for my day, except this happened – Eggs Florentine from here WHICH as I have to remind, is pretty Keto friendly for me with a few changes. Here’s what I mean: Ingredients For the hollandaise sauce 230 g of butter 3 egg yolks 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of water 200 g of butter Salt Pepper For the poached eggs 4 eggs 1 tablespoon of vinegar (I deleted it as well just because) 4 slices of toasted bread (which I remove for Keto and instead create a parmesan cheese crisp) For the spinach 400 g of fresh spinach cleaned and washed 200 ml of whole fresh milk (coconut milk for me) Nutmeg Salt {more}
I’ve been a little on edge lately. It happens and I know it. But this round, I can’t figure out if there is actually a way to help myself not feel so wound up about even the smallest of issues. I mean I try my best to rationalize, and adjust my lifestyle and dance around all the stress which lead to my anxiety, but sometimes it’s hard and everything does have a limit. So, if you find yourself feeling a bit anxious recently about this or that – you know the thing called YOUR LIFE, then for that reason, I have included a few helpful topics to consider. Just in case, like me, you are considering a few much-needed changes. And finally, what do you think – is this a true statement?
As I stated earlier this week, we are coming to the best travel months of any year – you know, past the summer rush with college students and lots of families and group travelers crowding every city or town, most anywhere in the world. Driving the prices for accommodations to high season rates, and the locals to grow inpatient with all the chaos. I do my best to stay away the summer months and plan my trips in early Spring or Fall. For this very reason – I have decided to share some interesting suggestions for those of you planning to vacation like me – semi-off-season, or what I like to call ‘adult vacationing’

Here’s yet another meal I can make for the family + my a portion for my dietary needs (Keto) if you just joined us here on RS&S. It will go down like this in my household – INGREDIENTS 8 ounces rice noodles (remove for hardcore Keto and add chicken instead) 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1 sweet onion, diced 2 zucchini, or summer squash, diced 2 ears sweet corn kernels, removed from the cob (remove for hardcore Keto) 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated 2-3 tablespoons Thai red curry paste 1 14 ounce can full fat coconut milk 1 tablespoon fish sauce (soy sauce for vegan option) – (or none for me – I am not a fan) 2 teaspoons honey (remove for hardcore Keto) juice and zest from 1/2 a lime 1/4 cup fresh cilantro OR basil, roughly chopped (use you personal favorite) sliced jalapeño pepper and green onions, for serving {more} {recipe and photo source}
A decade ago, I was in Hawaii staying at the Sheraton Waikiki Honolulu, where there were statues and images of fully grown sea turtles all throughout the decor in the lobby, and I didn’t understand as to why. Then one day, while napping at poolside, I heard the faint sounds of excited reactions to something. I opened my eyes to a group of hotel guests and passersby along the man-made walkway, watching something in the water. Naturally I had to see also what all the fuss was about. So I walked over to the railing and looked down to see someone messing with a sea turtle, poking at him with a stick just so he could snap a photograph. Smacking the poor thing and taunting it, while spectators demanded that he stop the stupidity. I was heart-broken to say the least and wished I could go down to the water and offer up my opinion to the human, mishandling the beautiful creature. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by sea turtles and hope to someday be …
Someone asked me once, why my fascination with bridal gowns, and my answer was that I see past the white and think what wonderful pre-season options these gowns would be for a special gala event or the red carpet.
Normally when I am in England, I spend a week or so near Norfolk – to visit family and I love it when we drive to Cornwall, or Cotswold for a few days in between my stay. While there, I often joke about buying a house, although deep down I truly wish that I could – at least rent one for a few months to see if living abroad is doable really. Which house do you fancy? {featured image Cotswold, England}
