There is a list of lodge recommends from here that might be worth your while if you are planning a trip to this beautiful country during the winter months. Consider the following: Log Cabins in Skye Ness Castle Lodges, Inverness Cameron Lodge, Loch Lomond Loch Lomond Waterfront Lodge, Balmaha Piper Dam near Dundee for Hagmanay festivities Braes Lodge, Aberfeldy Taymouth Marina, Kenmore The quiz of the day: If you have fallen inlove with Edinburgh like I have then take this quiz to see which neighborhood you fit in. I got Marchmont/Morningside – not complainin’ I’m good with that.
I am a fan of the man. The man behind the mask, behind a beard, behind an Irish accent, a killer in a role, a lover, a hero, on land and on the water. A preacher, a soccer player, anything goes. And while I was researching for book 3 – which I’ve been working on diligently to have ready by February 2015, I stumbled upon this video, pausing to take it all in. It was filmed in San Francisco, I know exactly where, since I stalked the shoot, naturally 🙂 It’s wonderful to see the finished product. Anyway, enjoy for all of you Gerard Butler fans, or not. Happy birthday to the man of today!
It mattered not the weather is cold for a San Franciscan, we bundled up and left the hotel a little after ten in the morning to do, as usual, a walking tour – not really with any particular place in mind. It was enlightening, beautiful and I returned to my hotel finally after eight at night, understanding the ties between Montreal, Canada and Scotland. Edinburgh and Montreal are for sure sister cities, very identical in so many ways. Oh and the food in Edinburgh, has to be the best I’ve had in Europe. Sorry Italy and France.
Crazy as this may sound, when we finally get the Indian Summer in San Francisco, I cannot help but think of happy thoughts and I know I am not alone. So while I am in that frame of mine, I turn to what I call sexy appeal in photography to stay inspired while I am indoors 🙂
