Food: Dinner Tonight with Sweet Potato, Poached Egg, Avocado

I eat whatever I crave at any given time. Meaning to say, I don’t necessarily save an ideal breakfast meal just for breakfast. Eggs for dinner suits me just fine.  So, with that in mind, here’s a quick and a wonderful treat I plan to make for dinner tonight: INGREDIENTS 2 sweet potatoes olive oil salt + pepper for the chimichirri: 1 cup of loosely packed cilantro 1 cup of loosely packed parsley 1/3 cup of red onion 4 cloves of garlic 1/2 of a jalapeño, seeded 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar for the avocado mash: 1 avocado a squeeze of fresh lime juice (1/2 a lime) olive oil salt + pepper 2 fresh eggs (optional)

Decor: Simple Walk-in Shower Design

Besides being extremely clean, the shower should ideally be an inviting space  – where one can simply exist for just a few minutes as if there isn’t a care in the world. My favorite experience under the best shower was in Bern Switzerland, in a five-star property – where the emphasis of the entire bathroom was the walk in for five 🙂 shower with dimming lights, a state of the art shower head, and side streamers, and other bells and whistles – I still think about it.  In light of that fond memory, I have included some wonderfully designed shower spaces just in case you are in the process of a remodel:

Health: How To Metabolism

I sort of chuckled at the title of this topic, but you know what, you gotta have a sense of humor to appreciate a little bit of silliness. Anyway, metabolism is a huge topic in my circle of acquaintances, friends and family. Every conversation leads to what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat and how to combine the right type of meals to kick up ones metabolism. Travel: Not the Same Old…

I can’t figure out in which order travel falls into my top three obsessions – which are: writing, photography, travel. OR. Travel, writing, photography. OR Photography, travel, writing.  But it’s up there and so with that said, I am again online searching for more, much more about travel. In this case, not the same old ideas (hopefully).  Enjoy your Sunday afternoon read:

Interesting Reads: Mystery Behind Archaeological Finds on Earth

There is so much to be learned and so little time. 🙂 Good morning everyone needing  just a quiet hour or two on Sunday morning to simply grab a cup of coffee or herbal tea in my case, and just read for the sake of learning something new. Here we go: Giant stone spheres — some dating as far back as A.D. 600 — pepper the Diquis Delta of southern Costa Rica. Known locally as Las Bolas (“The Balls”), these monuments were the works of a Pre-Colombian civilization, and most are made from gabbro, a rock that forms from molten magma. The people who carved the stones into their perfectly spherical shapes likely did so using other small stones, according to archaeologists who study the ancient rocks. Many non-experts have speculated that the so-called Diquis Spheres were used for astronomical purposes, while others think they may have pointed the way to significant places. The truth is that no one knows for sure. The Chibchan people who once populated Costa Rica and other parts of Central …
