Latest Fashion Finds

We were given a choice back in March to either return to the office or work remotely or both. I chose remote as I feel I get more done at home than actually in a bustling and noisy office environment. But I do miss getting dressed up, casual of course for San Francisco. Putting on some makeup and actually spending time to tame my curls – I enjoyed the ritual before the pandemic. For a year now, I have steered clear from all things fashion. Mostly because I do have a walk-in closet full of clothes and shoes I am wondering what to do with since I made the decision to work permanently remote. Also the fact, most of my weekends are spent outdoors, sometimes in a very rugged environment, where it is better to dress according to the adventure planned rather than rotating my neglected clothes. So then why am I falling for these? Have you returned to the office?

Fashion: Zimmerman Resort 2021

I’ve stayed away from fashion for a bit for probably all the wrong reasons. I figured since we were all forced to work from home, what fashion would matter. So I put it on pause, which I admit is wrong. Fashion is fashion and the appreciation is as trendy as a bucket list for vacation destinations. So, here we go, Zimmerman Resort 2021 will kick off my commitment to revamp the fashion admires: {features images and article full credit}

Fashion: Givenchy Couture Collection – Spring 2020

Do you ever watch a runway show (online) naturally for those of us not so privileged for front row seats – and hold your breath, because you hope no one stumbles and falls – pounding hard on their stride down the catwalk?  Sorry – I needed to be funny this morning since this week has been a doozy in every sense of the way. So I figure funny is in order, and aim to focus on laughing today, and do one fun project, which I’ll tell you all about later. In the meantime enjoy these wonderful couture collections from Givenchy.

Fashion: Carolina Herrera – Spring 2020

After the 49ers lost yesterday in the Superbowl, I needed to gear my focus onto something fancy and colorful – just to shake off the disappointment I felt after watching the game. Although Kansas City Chiefs did kick **s – so the win was well deserved. But let’s move past that and talk about these amazing Caroline Herrera, who happens to be one of my favorite designers – Spring 2020 collection On another note, what did you think about Brad Pitt’s BAFTA acceptance speech? If you did watch the Superbowl – which commercial did you like the most or the least? My favorite was Jason Memoa’s  And as I called it, the little girl singing alongside Jennifer Lopez was non other than her daughter Emme – who has everyone buzzing about her performance at the half-time show with her mum.

Five Things That Grabbed My Attention This Morning

As I ‘mature’ I realize I’m developing a sense of calmness when dealing with everyday life. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do need to vent here and there, well mostly after enduring a situation for a long period of time, I need to let it all out, but not as emotionally as I used to. I realize as I type this, that with maturity, there will also come a time, where I see myself not even venting anymore. Instead, simply shaking my heading and carrying on. Until then, I am simply sharing a few things that have grabbed my attention this morning and wanted to know your take on them.

Fashion: A Little French Boutique Store Called Sézane

I walked past the pop-up in San Francisco- Maiden Lane, when my thoughts were elsewhere and it wasn’t until I got home that I realized the opportunity I missed to walk into a Sézane store  in my hometown, that would have taken me away to somewhere in Paris and perhaps do a little shopping for these chic pieces:

Fashion: Autumn Wear Even For The Casual Weekends

On Sunday I was invited to breakfast with a friend and since the weather was super cold, I opted for warm athleisure wear, tennis shoes, no makeup and hair up in a messy ponytail. And then I arrive at the restaurant, and the first thing I noticed was how chic some folk, mostly the women were dressed to the occasion. Then I felt self-conscious of course, and vowed that I would make an effort to rummage through my closet and create these looks for the holiday brunches, and shopping  I plan to do over the course of the next few weekends.
