I walked into Anthropologie at the Stanford Shopping mall yesterday with my jaw dropped, and my eyes lit up at the sight of the most beautiful put together emporium of holiday-ish and other products ready for the best shopping season of the year. I wanted everything, and most of the displays managed to captivate and enchant me in ways I haven’t been strolling though an actual retail establishment. Good for them, I say for materializing a solid vision. So I dug deep to find out which umbrella of retail stores was this particular establishment and discovered the results here. It’s an interesting read that I will leave you to consider. Otherwise please proceed to the fun stuff below. {featured image and inspiration for blog entry}
I’ve been too focused on travel these past few weeks, but only because it is that season and I am having withdrawals. Since this year, everyone I normally visit has decided to visit me in San Francisco during the worst of seasons – FOG, and more FOG and cold and no visibility, just white with much sprinkles. 🙂 So fashion came to be the topic today because, I happen to love Parisian style, and Italian ones and the idea of creativity in terms of design.
Let me strut my stuff across the red carpet at the Oscars in one of these beautifully designed gowns from Zuhair Murad for Spring 2019 collection, and I’ll show you celebrity like you’ve never seen before. 🙂 Just kidding – the part about me being a celebrity or like you’ve never seen before – the collection however, is on point and I am hopeful some celebrity has snagged a gown or two for their choice of attire on February 24. Can you guess which is my favorite? Or yours for that matter.
I’ve been monitoring Nordstrom’s smart business decisions lately – in aligning themselves with trendy bloggers and fashion icons and creating a pretty amazing shopping ‘frenzy’ I mean experience. 🙂 They have surely come a long way and in this crazy online shopping fad turned to the way of life, they have learned how to stay competitive. I applaud your drive Nordstrom. Okay, off the finance-box and up on the fashion one – here are a few pieces I’ve come to admire and click-to-buy quickly BECAUSE by the time I make a firm decision, whether I should or not – the items show SOLD OUT. Yes I would – in white, black or checkered from Something Navy – but hurry…
I am back from my trip across the pond and the first thing I am wondering, after seeing the most incredible of street fashions, is – how many of these amazing looks can I pull off in San Francisco -which I always say is not a fashion trend setting city.
Just a few of my favorite shoes in pastels and neutrals from here:
A few occasions I’ve been invited to this Springtime and naturally the need to update my wardrobe is the first thing that comes to mind: {featured image source}
The coolest of shoes come in all sorts of colors and fabric from Everlane, San Francisco– to give a woman just the right amount of sex-appeal with the most of comfort. The only trouble is – which color and how many?
Oh Oscar – you had me at sparkle….
