Tuesday Topics of Interest

We’ve had Spring-like weather in San Francisco for a couple of weeks now, and although I wish it would rain more, I am happy with the chance that I can enjoy the bright sunny days.

So although the plan this morning is to attend one meeting after another, I wanted to share some interesting topics I came across. Just in case you are bundled up at home aching for a distraction or two or three. 😉

A place I would escape to in a heartbeat- especially if I can hide in this very room, writing away. Take a tour of this amazing home in Rhodes, Greece.

Have you see 11.22.63 on Hulu? A suspense thriller based on Stephen King’s novel about the assassination of JFK. Although since it is based on events which actually happened in American and even world history, I found it most interesting to get a glimpse of what would have happened if time travel allowed us to go back in time and ‘fix’ a problem or two.

If you have seen it, I have to ask. What did you think of the actor portraying Lee Harvey Oswald’s character.

This view in the perfect apartment has me aching for Paris

I was feeling a little off this past week, and probably my worst on Monday. So when my boss, on a zoom call noticed my weirdness, she asked if I was experiencing the effects of Mercury Retrograde. I shrugged. Had no idea what she was talking about. So I naturally had to look it up and since then, (call me crazy) all things weird that took place in my life in the past weeks are now all making perfect sense. Are you a believer?

More nerdy thoughts streamed through my head. Especially, after a zoom call with a group of co-workers complaining about the snow in the east coast and other places around the globe. So although I was aware of the fact, how important nature is to our well-being, I had to go there and do some more digging about scientific analysis about the subject. Because that is who I am.

It’s official. I have to go gluten-free. Especially after experiencing some serious health issues recently. Which means, I have to rethink cooking for a finicky family. I am hoping this guide to cooking gluten-free will help me and perhaps anyone struggling with needing to make the switch. Baby steps. Baby steps.
