This week has been a bit off, thinking today is Wednesday, when it is really Thursday. Not to mention the fact, the days are getting shorter and in San Francisco too gloomy for this time of the year. Thoughts About the Underworld

As I mentioned before, our company decided to move office locations in the city to combat the unreasonable increase in our lease renewal in San Francisco.  At the moment the demand is high here in tech-city extension, I call it – after Silicon Valley.  So, we had no choice but to move to a new office space – in the underground. Which I am still having trouble getting used to. But you know what happened to me as a result of being eight hours in the deep darkened space with no natural light or air?  I have changed my mind about…the underworld places around the world I wanted to see.  I am no longer interested, now that I realize I do not like the idea of not having a quick escape, but nevertheless here they are for your consideration. {featured image source}

Travel: Sea Turtle Hatchling Watch

A decade ago, I was in Hawaii staying at the Sheraton Waikiki Honolulu, where there were statues and images of fully grown sea turtles all throughout the decor in the lobby, and I didn’t understand as to why. Then one day, while napping at poolside, I heard the faint sounds of excited reactions to something. I opened my eyes to a group of hotel guests and passersby along the man-made walkway, watching something in the water. Naturally I had to see also what all the fuss was about. So I walked over to the railing and looked down to see someone messing with a sea turtle, poking at him with a stick just so he could snap a photograph. Smacking the poor thing and taunting it, while spectators demanded that he stop the stupidity. I was heart-broken to say the least and wished I could go down to the water and offer up my opinion to the human, mishandling the beautiful creature. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by sea turtles and hope to someday be …
