Travel: All Things Paris

I’ve been to Paris nearly every single month of the year – except December and January and in 2018 I am adding to my bucket list to experience my favorite place on earth at least the month of December – right before and during all the holiday festivities. In the meantime, here’s what I have learned recently…

My First EATALY Visit was…

The craze for the newly opened EATALY in Los Angeles caused such a stir they had to close it for the day to reassess how best to proceed. Which makes for even more demand to go and see the location on Santa Monica Boulevard and experience the concept of all sorts of eateries under one roof.  Something that’s been long done  in Seattle, Montreal, Lisbon, and Rome – naturally these are all the locations I’ve had the pleasure to visit and experience probably one of the best of food and spirit.  The concept is also in the San Francisco Ferry Building, and the EATALY style opened years ago, is in the Twitter building on Market Street and 9th if you want to check it out while you are in town.  The funny thing is once you eat there, or make a date with friends to meet up  for drinks and amazing foods, you literally become a repeat customer. So, in case you missed the first installment of the travel series, you can get a second chance here, and then stay tuned for more topics of interest to come.

Travel Series: Behind The Scenes

Sure, when we travel somewhere, we are mostly focused on what we see in front of us and seldom do any background information on sites or towns we visit. I mean current events or future plans research. Well, I am always intregued but evolution or remodel or updates or sometimes unfortuantely a bad decision in terms of a town, a city, or a country decides in their efforts to move forward. Anyway, here are some interesting behind the scenes stories that I, as always, felt the need to share:

Travel: If Architecture Is Your Thing

I don’t know about you, but when I travel, I spend a lot of time looking up, to all the structures making up a city, a town, or a village. So naturally this article about 20 best cities for architectural lovers stuck the perfect cord on this chilly Sunday morning while I sip on green tea and scroll the madness of the internet. And for your viewing pleasure I am going to simply list the least expected destinations or beg forgiveness for my ignorance just in case the places I list are more well know than I assumed:
