Puts a whole new perspective on the difficulties one faces, thinking we are all alone, until we stumble upon this touching story of love and new beginnings. Here’s to hoping the best for 2018 and beyond to all of us who sometimes feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for the inspiration and hope you’ve given me CofJ

What to See, Eat and Buy Yourself To Cheer Up This Holiday Season

No matter how crazy this year has been for me, I’ve made a conscious effort to get into the spirit of the holiday season. Encouraging everyone around me to do the same – even if it’s simply decorating the Christmas tree or home or work space – just do it. I promise it will make you feel a little bit better. So once the decorations are up, then consider a few more things to life up your spirit: There are so many Holiday themed films, make popcorn, open a bottle of bubbly and simply indulge in adult Christmas movies , or chuck the bubbly and watch the ones for the entire family. And if going for the holiday themed film experience at a movie theater, see The Man Who Invented Christmas, or a local independent theater playing classic Christmas movies.  Also my favorite Hallmark films for 2017 are Operation Christmas, and Miss Christmas. That’s not saying I haven’t been binge watching the rest.   I think for the holidays, pause the obsession about watching your …

So it’s your turn – is it? For that family, or friends get-together in your humble home. But after agreeing you realize – oh s**** the kitchen, and you either wish you could re-route the party to someone else’s home or find ways to spruce it up just in time for that amazing party you plan to throw. Here are some suggestions I found to be simply gorgeous and pretty lasting: And here’s the bonus to this article – how to throw a dinner party like the French – might be the best idea yet. Especially for this girl who is all things French at heart:

Lifestyle: Can We Learn From All This…

There are helpful articles everywhere naturally. Aiding in coping, dealing, working through, how to’s and much more, which occasionally will or could shed some light on what we think we already know, or maybe we are utterly too baffled to resolve on our own. Or, just that we simply want to educate ourselves on subject matter, we know nothing about, but are willing to understand. For that reason, I am sharing a few finds online that may be beneficial:

The Latest on Health and Beauty

Being open to ideas or suggestions is a good thing – and if not – it’s a fun thing to do – to learn more about self care. I always love re-inventing myself even if I often choose simplicity in my approach, I do make efforts to add a new style or a method here and there to shake up things a bit or even to humor myself. 🙂 So, here we go – first topic  of discussion is – the list of best anti-aging oils giving you insight on how to proceed with care when it comes to your skin or face, or wrinkles This look is exactly what I’ve been searching for – or actually what am I say – I have been supporting for years – dressing up jeans with a fancy blouse and a solid pair of flats – here’s what they say The 90’s, not my favorite in terms of fashion, trend is making a comeback – how do you vote? Sunday Reads And A Cup of Coffee or Tea

Sunday mornings are the best. I wake up early no matter the leisure day, and  do a bit of reading an actual paperback with a cup or two of green tea in hand, and then get online to plan out my blogging week. All before breakfast :). I feel more accomplished like that. Anyway, without boring you with too much background, I share with you today’s interesting finds:

Decor: Picking The Right Exterior Design For Your Home

We’ve been procrastinating on the idea of replacing our roof and with that of course refreshing the paint or the look of the exterior. Although the wait list for a roof replacement is a mile or two long and the cost – very out of to control in comparison to other places around the country, it needs to be done. We know we are getting ripped off, but what can you do. The price one has to pay for living in such an expensive city. Anyway, while we wait out our turn – it looks like early March or late March – who knows anymore, I am already doing research on the rest of the exterior decor with minor design updates. Here’s my favorites so far: And here’s the rest of my favorites from Home Designing 🙂 just because I love modern architecture and design:

Photographs That Speak Volumes

Over the weekend, I hit a wall – in terms of writing and blogging. I was in Sausalito on Saturday, just enjoying the Indian Summer, and all of sudden, I realized I had nothing to talk about. I know this happens to most people striving to be creative.  Then I went home that night and watched 3 classic films and suddenly, I came to. More about that later. But for now let your imagine wander with these photos that speak volumes. {source from here, and here}

Friday Fun Facts or Just Some Things For Small Talk At A Cocktail Party

There is nothing worse than being invited to a get-together, then to simply stand in the corner, with drink in hand, and nod your head when the party-goers surrounding you are chit-chatting about nothings.  So, just before you put on your shoes to sprint out of your home and to that party, or maybe even while in Uber getting there, here’s some fun topics to bring up just to break the barrier, or disrupt the awkward quietness.
