Lifestyle: Hobbies and Crafts

This topic is an unusual one for here, but I was at Michael’s craft store over the weekend, just aisle shopping – when I realized it is full on craft season – so I went back home and naturally searched online for some ideas or books on ideas or…ways to consider starting a business online. And if you happen to share the interest, I have included some fun references: And this one just because:

Lifestyle: How To…

There seems to be an online manual for everything these days and that’s fine. Because once in a while we do need a little push to get things done, or even ideas to improve upon the norm, and then there are even suggestions which raise an eye brow or causes our jaws to drop open, wondering why we didn’t think of this or that. Anyway, you get the point and so here we go:     {photo source}

Get Inspired For The Rest of 2017

Yes, it is August 1st and instead of focusing on the “I can’t believe its….(insert Month) already!” Kinda of thinking, I am gearing my attention to all the positive things that have happened in the past 7 months so that I stay inspired and focused on what I would like to achieve in the next coming four months leading to 2018. Books I Noticed Recently

I love mom-and-pop bookstores and will stop dead in my tracks anytime to walk into one and take note of what to read next. First I check out the top staff recommends, then the ones that are on the best bookseller list and then I head back to sections and pick the ones I plan to actually read. And this is a random thought – do you subscribe to GoodReads? If so then let’s connect why don’t we?  And if not, then that’s okay. Drop me a line here or here to say if you have read any of these books and what did you think?

Lifestyle: Health and Aging Muscles

The past three months or even more, I’ve been on the go – working long hours, not sleeping well, nor eating healthy, and exercise has been put on hold, unless you consider driving back and forth to the country as exercise.  I realize just the other day while at Trader Joe’s, how unhealthy I feel, physically and emotionally. Thinking that perhaps I needed  a week or so just being disconnected from everything.  And of course the next five articles just happened to pop up in my social network – network if you will 🙂 {photo source}

Relationship of sorts – Myth or Not

I honestly could be engrossed in grocery shopping and an idea pops into my head about…whatever. And just last night while at the local produce store picking peaches, I remembered just how great my ‘hubs’ and I felt every time we came back from vacation.  And that thought led to – does real love exist?  And all of a sudden I felt the need to shift gears…to…dogs, and how they  react to things, and people, and are also affected by events that take place in their owners lives and then all of a sudden this and that happened and I found a few topics I wanted to share and gather up your opinions about:

Travel: Let’s Talk U.S.

I seldom mention travel in or around the U.S. – I suppose it’s because I take this amazing country for granted. But I’ve made my way throughout parts of the 50 states and truth be told kind of feel envious of those that have covered all 50 or even 30. Like my old travel boss, or a couple of good friends that recently posted on Facebook a map detailing all that they have covered or seen throughout this interesting country some of us call home. Note to self – or bucket list – cover all 50 states. In the meantime, here’s a quick and dirty on America:
