Decor: What Your Front Door Color Says About You

I’ve been working with roofers, painters, and landscape artists for months, trying to revamp our family home. And because of this project, I have been to Benjamin Moore paint store more times than I want to admit, and visited countless Plant Nursery stores, although the later I absolutely consider therapy, the paint store exercise has stressed me out to no end.  Because what you see on a paper swatch and adore, sometimes isn’t the true colors on the walls. Like this one about real life places that inspired the Disney Films: So, here’s what comes to mind- that I need to plan a Disney location inspired trip across the globe to see in actuality the inspiration behind every inspiration. I mean since I am a writer and all, the trip is justifiable 😉 Also what is your favorite Disney movie? And if you are a …

Travel Series: Behind The Scenes

Sure, when we travel somewhere, we are mostly focused on what we see in front of us and seldom do any background information on sites or towns we visit. I mean current events or future plans research. Well, I am always intregued but evolution or remodel or updates or sometimes unfortuantely a bad decision in terms of a town, a city, or a country decides in their efforts to move forward. Anyway, here are some interesting behind the scenes stories that I, as always, felt the need to share:

Travel: If Architecture Is Your Thing

I don’t know about you, but when I travel, I spend a lot of time looking up, to all the structures making up a city, a town, or a village. So naturally this article about 20 best cities for architectural lovers stuck the perfect cord on this chilly Sunday morning while I sip on green tea and scroll the madness of the internet. And for your viewing pleasure I am going to simply list the least expected destinations or beg forgiveness for my ignorance just in case the places I list are more well know than I assumed:
