Travel: All Things Paris

I’ve been to Paris nearly every single month of the year – except December and January and in 2018 I am adding to my bucket list to experience my favorite place on earth at least the month of December – right before and during all the holiday festivities. In the meantime, here’s what I have learned recently…

Travel Series: Behind The Scenes

Sure, when we travel somewhere, we are mostly focused on what we see in front of us and seldom do any background information on sites or towns we visit. I mean current events or future plans research. Well, I am always intregued but evolution or remodel or updates or sometimes unfortuantely a bad decision in terms of a town, a city, or a country decides in their efforts to move forward. Anyway, here are some interesting behind the scenes stories that I, as always, felt the need to share:

Sunday Morning Reads 100817

I felt the chill of Autumn this morning – after leaving my window wide open overnight – since the 70 degree temps from the evening before. Something we experience here in San Francisco in October. Even though it was cold, it felt wonderful to breathe in the clean early morning air, and opening my eyes to the moon glistening over the Pacific. Soon enough with a cup of tea in hand, I came across these cool articles to share: Food: First breakfast or brunch idea – pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes: Decor: Old World Parisian Decor meets modern according to Dwell Online     Travel: 12 Museums in Paris not to miss especially when you plan a trip in late Fall And How Long A Vacation Should Be:   Lifestyle: If you long to work from home – here’s a list of companies that are hiring to do just that. Also the affects of anxiety and what it does to your body {featured image credit}

Fashion: Best Haute Couture Looks – 2017

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. And in case you didn’t here’s the best escape for the Monday morning blues I can think. Haute Couture is probably the most fascinating of all fashion, and the likes of Chanel, Valentino, Ellie Saab, Dior,  Versace, and more are displayed so wonderfully on the pages of Bazaar magazine:

Travel: Paris in the Fall

I’ve been thinking hard about taking a trip to Paris in the next few weeks, well…because I simply miss it. So while searching the best airfare, and rates at my favorite hotel, I came across this interesting article in Timeout Online of the 21 things not to miss while in Paris in the fall. Which, makes my need to go even better :).  Here’s what I would be doing:

Travel: Not the Same Old…

I can’t figure out in which order travel falls into my top three obsessions – which are: writing, photography, travel. OR. Travel, writing, photography. OR Photography, travel, writing.  But it’s up there and so with that said, I am again online searching for more, much more about travel. In this case, not the same old ideas (hopefully).  Enjoy your Sunday afternoon read:
