I love waking up to a message from our global team in the UK – wishing me a happy weekend.
Funny how that works. 6a.m. in California while it is 2p.m. in the UK, where everyone-well at least for our company-is getting ready to unplug from all things work.
Anyway, what are you up to this weekend?
As I mentioned in my last post, I was going to chase Fall. But, due to the dry weather we are experiencing in California, the leaves are not turning color as beautifully as I had imagined in my head. At least in California. Not sure in other parts of the world. Although someone I work with in the east coast mentioned how green and plush all things were in his state and he wondered if winter was really around the corner…
Lots happened this past week. Mostly binge-watched a Netflix mini-series and I have to say I am actually traumatized from being able to decode the underlying message in the series. Have you seen Midnight Mass? I can’t say I recommend it to all incase they might feel offended. But it’s reading between the lines that is the most exciting about this particular series – if you have the stomach for this sort of thing.

Next topic – Just thought I’d share, my entire life, I’ve been super fascinated with all things astronomy and watch the night skies often. Recently the brightness of Venus at sunset has been the most exciting sparkle to see in recent days and really how quickly it disappears. What planets have you seen in recent weeks or days in your part of the world?

Also, this year I am going to make every effort to visit an apple farm-my favorite here. The last time my family explored a farm was in 2012. I think we are way overdue for this sort of adventure. I don’t know about you, but I find myself aching for the old-fashioned. Perhaps because I am not happy at the rate the world is changing…

Have you started your Christmas shopping? I actually have for the first time in my life. Mostly since I hear there is a manufacturing shortage of all things-I actually bought toys for all of my favorite little humans. What I found interesting is all sorts of grandparents are out doing the very same thing… 🙂
And finally, here’s my favorite recipe for this week

Have a lovely weekend!
