I couldn’t stop at just “San Francisco Coffee shops” when I was thinking about the title of this post 🙂 Becaaaauuuusseee….San Francisco, Uber, Union Square and coffee are a package deal – in terms of the order of things to do for tourists while visiting this fine city, I call home.  (Mouthful I know) Anyway, if you are coming to town, or simply commuting in fron the Bay Area for some fun or shopping or a museum visit or just to get a glimpse of the ocean in October, then I suggest your first stop to be  one of these fine coffee shops that I have tested and love:

Travel: Fun Facts You May Not Have Known About

I remember as a child standing in a very short line for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in New Orleans place in Disneyland, CA, and after the ride, leaving through an exit that funneled to a back lot, where I spotted facade-like doors and stairs leading to areas not open to the public. Years later, while on a private tour through the company I was working for at the time, who was Disney’s preferred banker, we were privy to a secret club which was behind one of those doors. You can imagine my excitement about the privilege. Too bad we weren’t allowed to take photographs then. Someone I knew once told me that she celebrated New Year’s in Australia and then flew to Hawaii to celebrate it again, again the thought of being able to do that seemed amazing to me.   For those who love bookstores and libraries as much as I do, then consider a night’s stay in Paris bookstore Success comes in all ages – as we all know – and …

Travel: Best Breakfast in San Francisco Past the Tourist Trap

San Francisco is an easy city to explore on foot, or a bus, or Uber or any means to get past all the tourist areas and the best way to plan it, is to start out with breakfast to some of my favorite and tested spots  in my city and the rest of the list of many others I plan to explore eventually:

Travel: Is Still A Good Idea

This year I switch my travels abroad to March instead of the usual October trip I take every year, and believe me I regret that decision. But only because it is now October, and my brain is programmed for Europe. Now since most of my friends are smartly taking their holidays or vacations for a two-week trip to my favorite part of the world, I figured I’d share a few helpful things, just in case you are itching to take a trip.

Sunday Morning Reads 100817

I felt the chill of Autumn this morning – after leaving my window wide open overnight – since the 70 degree temps from the evening before. Something we experience here in San Francisco in October. Even though it was cold, it felt wonderful to breathe in the clean early morning air, and opening my eyes to the moon glistening over the Pacific. Soon enough with a cup of tea in hand, I came across these cool articles to share: Food: First breakfast or brunch idea – pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes: Decor: Old World Parisian Decor meets modern according to Dwell Online     Travel: 12 Museums in Paris not to miss especially when you plan a trip in late Fall And How Long A Vacation Should Be:   Lifestyle: If you long to work from home – here’s a list of companies that are hiring to do just that.
