A friend of mine asked me to help revamp or refresh her dining room space, and when I suggested pops of color, she stopped breathing, or maybe she was hyperventilating-I just laughed and showed her this, this, and this hoping we can combine the three styles into one of her own, with a little help from your’s truly. Keep your fingers crossed.
Bathroom renovations are just as important as anywhere else in a home. I realized this when I walked into my cousin’s house several years ago, to see her proud bathroom renovation. A couple of years later, a friend also shared her updating a bathroom with me as well. And then another. I guess bathrooms and kitchens set the tone for renovating the entire house. See what I mean here, and here:
Isn’t it funny how we are drawn to certain color and patterns? In my case over a lifetime. Take this room for example. I love how:
Last year around this time, I drove everyone crazy with the helpful hints I found online, in stores and from those dear to me regarding the makeover I was planning on for my San Francisco studio apartment I will most like never part with–yes I love it that much. It suits me perfect, as long as I can revamp it every few years. Anyway, just in case you happen to be contemplating a re-decor, revamps, makeover and all others terms describing a refreshed look, then you might find these topics helpful, or just ask me. 🙂 {featured image article is all about the paint, click here}
This topic is for anyone loving the idea of having a space in their homes they can consider their own – in particular – a dedicated home office, or a small closet or a niche somewhere in the house, where the space can be organized as a home office. Kind of like these ideas I found here:
When we downsized from a 5-bedroom home to a studio apartment in San Francisco, I decided to get rid of everything and start over again. Picking furniture pieces that were simple, functional and naturally aesthetically pleasing. Although I am at the moment satisfied with how our space looks, I can’t help but feel the need to recreate, adding some of these wonderful suggestions from one of my favorite blogger:
When asked to describe my dream apartment – I sort of flail about my arms trying to explain the space my family called home abroad, somewhere in an ancient city with French influence. Something like this:
Today’s entry is short and sweet since I’m a tad bit overwhelmed with a few deadlines. But I took a second or two to show you what’s trending in my household- rather, my choice of colors in decor. That’s all. Have a nice day.
I live in a studio apartment in San Francisco. I wouldn’t trade it for the world because I have a wonderful view. Surely a while back I owned a massive 3300 sq. foot 2 story home just outside the city. But I realized that the place, although a house, was not a home. I’m more of a small space kind of gal. When we decided to downsize and move back to our wonderful city, I didn’t take much interest in painting or doing too much to the space we rented at the time, because I was fixed more on the view from the large window and figured the rest of the pleasures will come from travelling. Until in July 2016, I rolled up my sleeves and just went for the remodel, revamp, and everything that would I felt would add to my ocean view with the idea I wanted the place to feel light and airy. Although I am shy about sharing my personal space with anyone, I have offered up a wonderful article:
