I often speak of downsizing – which I’ve done and really will never go back to owning stuff and more stuff to fill a home. I prefer a small space, a loft or a studio filled with the simplest of decors and a handful of memorable collectables – that’s all I need to feel content.

So, this site with a list of modern prefab cabins got me interested – as each one represents a piece of what I would incorporate if I were building my own cabin in the woods-which by the way is something I’ve discussed and considered over the past year or so:
