If you are like me – somewhat tired of the normal travel, seeing the same old cities, and museums and historical sites, then you’d want to consider a trip to:
I can’t believe half the year is done with and with it, lots of unwanted changes have taken place in my life. I am hoping that the second half of the year would be more positive, and hopefully the bad streak of events are over and done with and I can start the healing and reshaping process. Because of all the weirdness, and I know I promised I wouldn’t address them here, but I am human after all and sometimes need to just say what’s on my mind – I have been researching more topics on self-help than I have ever. Kinda like these:
When it comes to travel my bucket list seems to be growing – every time I come across one of these articles: One of 74 islands in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsundays are without a doubt one of the most beautiful of them all, if not in the world. This Italian slice of island heaven has everything going for it; surrounded by clear blue waters, a stunning cliff coastline, and white-sand beaches, Ponza has been the nation’s well-kept secret for far too long. If you’re looking for breathtaking beaches and setting foot on gorgeous white sand, then Fernando de Noronha in the South Atlantic Ocean is your next holiday destination. If you really want to spoil yourself, then head straight to the middle of the Caribbean to Saint Barthélemy. This archipelagic province of the Philippines boasts turquoise waters, hidden coves and coastal hideaways, limestone caverns to be explored, and a five-mile-long underground river. I love a good picnic and although San Francisco is not ideal during the cold-foggy summer months to be outside, we the locals make every effort to drive across the Bay Bridge, or That Golden one to gather with family and friends for a good-old fashioned picnic – holidays or not. Popped physically into work today only to discover no one is here – July 4th Holiday time off naturally. So guess what I did to jump start my day: {Source here, here, here, and here}
I love spending time in my hotel room while travelling, so it is very important for me to book one that offers some views – of the city or water, or mountains. Huge windows, and even a balcony if I can pull it off. My favorite of all hotels so far has been the Westminster in Nice, in an Ocean view room. Just in case you feel the same way as I do, here’s a list of 13 hotels with fascinating views:
I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection lately, and sometimes I stumble upon articles that are useful and sometimes I find myself laughing at the suggestions or the unrealistic assessment by those conducting the research, or taking a survey. And then there are those articles that sort of stand out or get me really thinking – like these ones:
I’m always researching a move to Europe. Aiming to someday retire in any number of countries. My research is pretty extensive and hopefully well projected and planned. So, if you are also thinking or wishing or in the beginning stages of planning and don’t really know where and when – you might be swayed by this list of cheapest countries to live around the world – in which I am glad Armenia – the hidden gem – made it to the list.
Today there are no words that express best the thoughts going through my head. I just need to stare at pretty things: {from here, here and here, and here}
