When I am away from home, travelling through the countryside somewhere in Europe, I dream of buying a cottage and simply existing. But then I get back home, to my city by the bay (San Francisco) I long to live in a high rise, with views from each room, making my space feel like living on a cloud. Kind of like this:
Seriously it is very difficult to look past the 109 degree temps holding steady where I have been hiding these days from my life. But, fashion has to be viewed months or seasons in advance, and Michael Kors seems to be as always on point with his vision:
It’s sort of difficult to say really what cities architectures truly admire, or appreciate because, based on my travels, I consider every city or town I’ve been to most appreciated – in terms of architecture. Some of the topics that I clicked through this morning – and as we know it, felt the need to share:
I love noodles and will include either the Asian fusion version or the Italian at least one meal, once a week . So I was glad when I stumbled upon a healthy alternative here with sweet potato noodles and peanut sauce – which by the way includes the recipe for peanut sauce from scratch.
I love a new hotel, or the experience of it. My hubs and I got to experience such a wonder in Madrid Spain a few years back – staying in a beautiful hotel that had opened for one a week. We loved the experience, and most of all, loved the fact, we paid half the price since the property was so new. In line with this topic, I am sharing a few of the hotels I plan to experience from a Conde Nast Traveller list of best new hotels 2017: {Featured: Taylor’s River Lodge, Crested Butte, Colorado}
Summer is nearly here – the 21/22 of June to be exact and the vacation travel as we know it is in full swing. With that bit of wonderful reality (I am hoping for a week in a tropical destination late July or early August) comfy wear is what I am aiming for the entire two weeks I take refuge somewhere beachy to recharge and establish a plan of action for my life:
The beauty of moving to a new city or a home, is that one can actually start over – in terms of decorating or…even a new beginning. And what sets the space to be one that is aesthetically pleasing, is a touch of urban chic I gathered the ideas from here: <img class=”aligncenter size-large wp-image-15850″ src=”https://rawsilkandsaffron.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/05-11-gtl-cowhollow-02x.jpg?w=750″ alt=”” width=”750″ height=”433″ />
On a lazy Saturday afternoon, I decided to ask who your favorite fashion icon is presently? And can you guess which is mine from: Olivia Palermo Pippa Middelton Sofia Copola Meghan Merkle Amal Clooney
