While travelling through Italy, I always make a point to take a ferry to the island of Capri. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful exotic destinations on this planet. The charm and elegance of the island is a simple reminder of classic Hollywood. Don’t ask why, but the moment I step foot off the ferry, I feel as though I am back in the 1950s.

I love the way you put it – as soon as you step off the ferry you feel lie you’ve stepped back into the 1950s. I agree! I love Capri. I actually just spent the last week and a half there. I hope to return in October. It is beautiful. I stayed at the sister hotel to the Quisisana – La Scalinatella. But we ate at the lush restaurant at the Queezy (as we call it) and my husband went to the spa and swam in the pool. The grounds are amazing!!!
