Travel: Travel Abroad On Your Staycation

I’ve been a bit grumpy lately over the fact, the U.S. has relapsed, causing all states to retract parts of their post-lockdown phased openings. Not to mention the fact, we’ve been banned from travel to Europe. This too has caused my mind to hurt. Last week, I did a bit of staycation, where I ventured 20-60 miles out of San Francisco to explore parks and small towns mostly by driving through, hoping to find similarities in places in Europe I so miss. This list naturally caught my attention, about places in America’s western region where one can experience a bit of Europe. This also works well for all those stuck in the U.S. since the lockdown. Just remember to wear a mask, if you plan to drive through these towns for the fourth of July weekend holiday. Food: For the 4th of July Picnic Or Just Because

San Francisco doesn’t have the best weather for July 4th – Independence Day, where the highlight of the holiday is the fireworks celebrating our independence. So you can imagine most city folk travel hours to get away from the foggy cost and set up camp or a picnic somewhere to watch the fireworks.  Food is a big part of July 4th – come to think of it – food is a big part of anything we do in the states 🙂 But that doesn’t mean you cannot organize a picnic between now and then – and most anywhere in the world. Grab your loved ones or dear friends, a blanket, your pets and head out to a sprawling greenery or lakeside view location and just enjoy a day of eating and solid interaction. Been Away Much Too Long

I took a week away from everything to regroup. Well, actually to watch my good friend’s dogs while she went on vacation. I decided while placed out in the country, to take a break from all things writing, and online whatever we do day in and day out to pass the time. Before she left on her trip, she told me how badly she wanted to revamp her office space, and so I took it upon myself to give her the surprise of doing just that. The remainder of the time, I played with her beautiful doggies, made-from-scratch dinners, organized her book collection in alphabetical order, experienced Game of Thrones withdrawals, and simply vegged out, avoiding, as I stated earlier, everything online. You know what? Although it felt great to be away from it all,  living a much simpler life for a few days, I missed my blog and my writings so much that here I am  sharing with you some ideas for the 1) 4th of July celebrations,. 2)what is the one thing I …
