Only You Can Make The New Year A Happy One

On this New Year’s Eve, I could sit here and tell you all about the sad realities I endured and how it could have destroyed me if I let it, but instead I want to share with all of you that the most important thing to remember while welcoming in the new year is that, it is all up to you  to shape 2018 to be the best that it can be for you.  No matter how difficult or challenging 2017 was to most of us, learn from it and move forward  and… Remember to smile Surround yourself with positive people Change your thinking from negative to positive See the good in everything meditate no matter the style Stop being a victim and own up to your wrong doing and move on Be kind and help others Remember no one is perfect and we are all in this together Respect yourself Listen clearly before you speak Take care of our planet Happy New Year everyone !!! {photo source}

What All The Quiet Is About…

On this 22nd day of December, I woke up particularly early, barely passed midnight, from all the thinking I’ve been doing throughout the week, and apparently well into the night, last night. What to See, Eat and Buy Yourself To Cheer Up This Holiday Season

No matter how crazy this year has been for me, I’ve made a conscious effort to get into the spirit of the holiday season. Encouraging everyone around me to do the same – even if it’s simply decorating the Christmas tree or home or work space – just do it. I promise it will make you feel a little bit better. So once the decorations are up, then consider a few more things to life up your spirit: There are so many Holiday themed films, make popcorn, open a bottle of bubbly and simply indulge in adult Christmas movies , or chuck the bubbly and watch the ones for the entire family. And if going for the holiday themed film experience at a movie theater, see The Man Who Invented Christmas, or a local independent theater playing classic Christmas movies.  Also my favorite Hallmark films for 2017 are Operation Christmas, and Miss Christmas. That’s not saying I haven’t been binge watching the rest.   I think for the holidays, pause the obsession about watching your …
