refueling my brain

I never realized, actually I am lying. I have always known the weather plays a major role in my ability to stay creative while I write or discuss my inspirations.  So, since it’s been cold and rainy here in San Francisco for the past week as if we jus stumbled upon Winter, I find myself being completely uninspired. To make a long story short, I am taking a day to refuel my brain. Thank you all for your patience and for continuing to send  emails asking for more 😉  brb.

inspirational thoughts to live by

Mood swings are probably the worst a woman experiences and with that, we tend to sometimes lose site of what’s important and what our goals are.  While I mood swing, I usually make a conscious effort to spend an entire evening by myself to reflect and  regroup. Last night while I was reflecting, I watched an HBO show on Netflix called United States of Tara and I must say, it scared the *&*&* out of me and got me to  thinking how important it was to get a grip no matter what.

fashion: winter to spring transition

Since we  have been experiencing Spring like weather here in San Francisco, it has become truly challenging to dress for the weather since at the crack of dawn, when I get ready for work, it’s 32degrees and by lunch time it’s 65degrees and then by the evening it dips back down to the 30s again,  I am at a loss with my business casual attire. Burberry London Knitted Silk Cardigan USD550 (winter) 2. Dolce Gabana Cotton blend shirt USD325 (Staple) 3. Calvin Cline Knit V-Neck Cardigan 675 (spring) 4. Ralph Lauren Collection Corrine Suede boots USD460 (winter) 5. Stella McCartney Alyssa Wool-twill Skirt USD585 (Staple) 6. DKNY leather tote USD325 (Staple) 7. Stella McCartney Faux python …

holiday classic film recommend on a cold winter’s eve

While I understand, this week may be hectic for most as they shop last minute for gifts and draft up the menu for the holiday dinner, I suggest taking one evening off from all the madness and having a date night with a loved one by simply watching a class film, while munching on popcorn and drinking champagne. Fireplace is highly recommended but optional, the original classic film (from list below) is most recommend, a remake just won’t do for this particular experience.
