To me romantic restaurants can be anywhere you and a special person share the most intimate time together, eating, talking, laughing, flirting even and sometimes making even taking a milestone in your relationship. When we downsized from a 5-bedroom home to a studio apartment in San Francisco, I decided to get rid of everything and start over again. Picking furniture pieces that were simple, functional and naturally aesthetically pleasing. Every color is fascinating to me, no matter how dull some may seem to most. The key is knowing how to dress it up. In this case, the color gray, a more elegant, sophisticated hue for those preferring such luxury or gracefulness in their lifestyle – of course after the kids have left home, and there is no dog, or a dog that is well trained not to sit on such refinement. 🙂
I think if I had the means I would decorate my house differently every six months or so. But since reality dictates otherwise, I choose to decorate over time not really sticking to one style or another, and including everything that I makes me feel happy.
