I love how fashion has evolved – in terms of stylish shoes with comfort in mind to consider while out and about on the weekend, or vacation or simply a staple of casual work wear – especially here in San Francisco. See what I mean:

Although my place of work is comfy-casual, and on some days simply working from home in pajamas, I crave the look of business casual, or casual good enough for business – like from here:
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I buy the same pair of pants, or skirt, or top or dress in multiple colors – because I love the fit. And when the fit is right, you simply buy 🙂 Here’s a prime example of a style of dress I found an easy and comfortable piece to wear and ended up ordering a few – for a casual Saturday brunch or vacation, maybe a bridal shower, or baby one or even a high school graduation. I was shopping for just the right pair of shoes for a couple of holiday parties I said YES to. Keeping in mind, that I would like to wear the trendy pair, past the holidays, so I made sure I chose styles that might just work all year around. And then I saw this article and wanted to give you a visual of how some us think, when buying shoes: And had I known this blazer was going to make a come back right about now, I would have kept my original from the late 90’s – instead of donating it to a thrift shop. I totally admire those who stand out tastefully in their fashion sense, mix-matching various blends and patterns to create an outfit that is perfectly defining of their personality. I regret the fact I gave away my suit jackets from the 90’s because I am seeing them back in style and that was one style I had always appreciated and wore. This morning I walked out of the house, dressed for the 70 degree temps expected today, but found myself shivering at the train stop in the early morning chill. Then the train ride was freezing as well, not sure if the driver got the memo about the chilliness outside, but she kept the train at a very cooold 20 degrees it felt like. So, coats came to mind, and the idea of shifting my clothes in my closet to bring forward the sweaters, and boots and so on. With that said, here’s my favorite coat and Jacket picks for this season:
While in London in March, on my way to the theater to see a show – if you must know – An American In Paris on stage. Which was amazing by the way. I stumbled upon an actual brick and mortar of the boutique store – Topshop. Which for us in the states is only available to buy online. Well, let me clarify – until I noticed a few pieces on display at Nordstrom a couple of months ago. Anyway, the great thing about seeing merchandise in a store in person is that you can actually feel the fabric, and get a good look at stitching and make of the product. Even the colors are more realistic in a store. But I get it, in today’s world most things are purchased online. So, either way, online or some of the items appreciated in Nordstrom, here’s my list of picks:
