designer handbags: kate spade for her

While I strolled through Bloomingdales in San Francisco during my lunch hour to check out the Spring/Summer handbag collection, I have to admit I was drawn to the Kate Spade “wall of fame”display of colorful handbags on the main level of the department store and I must mention,  the photos do no justice to the real goodies.

creative gala gowns for the red carpet

Since I follow the red carpet fashion trends, I have noticed most celebrities have conformed to a uniform look just so they could pass the fashion police critique.  While that is acceptable, it seems they have compromised a sliver of their bold and daring creative side, at least in my opinion. I hope this year is a little different and we can actually see a little bit of daring and unique fashion like the ones I have picked out below.

golden globe 2013 – fashion sense winner

Normally, or actually for several years now, I have included some of my favorite  and not so favorite fashion choices celebrities opted for, for their walk across the red carpet. This year, however, although most have impressively selected  fashionable and exquisite gowns, classic Hollywood hairstyles and jewelry worthy of praise, I have to say one person in particular who stood out the most in the crowd of actors in tasteful attire is,  Jodie Foster:

new year’s eve 2012 comfortable fashion ensemble

Two things dictated how I wanted to dress for New Year’s Eve this year. Top priority was comfort and the second,  dressy but casual. So I opted for pants, then a simple sequined top, followed by strappy shoes which would give me enough support to last throughout the night and a simple pair of earings to  accessorize. As for the coat, I love fur, faux that is and since this year faux fur is in, I decided to incorporated it into my ensemble from here. 1. DKNYC Sequin Pullover Sweater 69USD 2. Sondra Roberts Clutch – Woven Satin and grosgrain box 125USD 3. Elie Tahari Tara Faux Fur Jacket 221USD 4. Judith Jack Sterling Silver Crystal Earings 75USD 5. Theory Pants Belisa Mandatory Slim 235USD 6. Vince Camuto Strappy evening booties 129USD
