Here’s Making It Easier for You This Holiday Season

So much is going on right about now, mostly you thinking what to bake, what to pack, which dessert should you volunteer for and oh that outfit – everything for a number of holiday events you and your loved ones will partake in less than 10 days. If we’re really counting – it’s 8 days. Eight days remaining to the world’s biggest celebration – well perhaps outside of New Years.  Here’s what I’m suggesting:

But then I seem to always have trouble finding a unique gift or something re-invented for the men in our family. What to See, Eat and Buy Yourself To Cheer Up This Holiday Season

No matter how crazy this year has been for me, I’ve made a conscious effort to get into the spirit of the holiday season. Encouraging everyone around me to do the same – even if it’s simply decorating the Christmas tree or home or work space – just do it. I promise it will make you feel a little bit better. So once the decorations are up, then consider a few more things to life up your spirit: There are so many Holiday themed films, make popcorn, open a bottle of bubbly and simply indulge in adult Christmas movies , or chuck the bubbly and watch the ones for the entire family. And if going for the holiday themed film experience at a movie theater, see The Man Who Invented Christmas, or a local independent theater playing classic Christmas movies.  Also my favorite Hallmark films for 2017 are Operation Christmas, and Miss Christmas. I Love the Idea of A Relish Tray

What a wonderful idea for those watching or trying to watch their weight during the holidays – A Relish Tray full of healthy bites INGREDIENTS ½ bunch dill, large stems removed, divided 6 teaspoons coriander seeds, divided 6 teaspoons fennel seeds, nigella seeds, or mustard seeds, divided 2 Fresno chiles, thinly sliced 2½ cups thinly sliced vegetables (such as fennel, scallions, celery, peeled carrots, and/or peeled beets) Kosher salt 2 cups apple cider vinegar ⅓ cup light agave nectar 1 cup mayonnaise ¼ cup Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 2 teaspoons ground turmeric Pinch of cayenne pepper 8 large eggs, room temperature 8 ounces black Cerignola olives 1 cup smoked almonds Flaky sea salt
