Travel: Have You Been To Mallorca, Spain

I’ve been to Spain many a times but never to Mallorca, but only because of having to fly there- we decided to pass up on Mallorca – which of course was a big mistake, and proceed up north from Barcelona towards southern France . But no fretting about it – I am planning a future trip to Mallorca – and only Mallorca and staying right here {all image source}

Boutique Hotel Pick – Le Mas Des Poiriers – Avignon, France

Even at this point in life, I dream of fairy tales, not so much about a prince sweeping my off my feet and ending up living a life of a princess, but more like, a place an adult woman could escape to, and be pampered for a week or more, with pool side refills on the finest of champagne and naps  on a plush wicker chaise longue in the gardens – that to me is the ideal of a fairy tale – 🙂

Travel: What You Might Want to Know – If It’s Your First Trip Abroad

I was excited to discover my first cousin has taken his family to Europe for the first time – and while they Instagram their trip, I smile at the thought of how excited his three daughters might be for experiencing something outside of the norm. So, while on the train commuting into the foggy downtown-San Francisco, I decided to compile a few interesting topics to cover what you might want to know if it’s your first trip abroad: And just in case you have trouble deciding how to pack for your first trip – here are some interesting of tips

Travel: Where to Go In August

I normally travel to Europe off season or end to a season or the beginning to a season. Meaning May or Mid September through October – not so much for the great fares and hotel rates, but rather for the quiet before and after the student travelers have passed through the continent. But this list of best places to travel in August can also carry through the end of October just fine, I know, I’ve been there: {featured image} Also this How To article had me smiling – my favorite: How To Sleep Like A Pope In Rome

Boutique Hotel Pick – La Reserve Geneva Hotel, Switzerland

I fell in love with Switzerland – two years ago, when I took a trip via train across the country for about two weeks in October. I think that was one of my favorite trips abroad. This morning as I stepped out of the commuter train; I noticed SWISS AIR ads all throughout the station – which took me back to the wonderful country I was fortunate enough to experience with its many natural wonders and health-oriented philosophy. So, with Switzerland in mind, I decided to share my latest boutique hotel pick for Geneva. Suites and Rooms Indoor and Outdoor Pools Spa and More To Indoor and Outdoor Dinning And if you are passing through Geneva, here’s a list of the best restaurants for 2019

Boutique Hotel Pick – The Williamsburg Hotel – New York

I am not a fan of standard hotels – which mostly cater to business travelers.  I prefer unique, artsy, small properties with a character bigger than the square feet of the lobby.  And I always start with the bathroom decor, and work my way to the room and views.  So, I think The Williamsburg Hotel New York – fits exactly the type of accommodations I’ve been searching for my trip to New York later this year.  And they are pet friendly 🙂

Boutique Hotel Pick – Heckfield Place – Hampshire, England

And here is where I wish to stay for a week or so – to simply daydream away – and nothing more… Where there are gardens to explores,  a spa day to be planned, decor to be admired and cuisine to be tried, this would be the best thing for me, I just know it                                                                                                                                                       {source here, and here}

Boutique Hotel Pick – L’Hotel Particulier – Arles, France

Mondays are a great day to start with daydreaming – about places you wish you could go or ones you hope someone would whisk you away to – for a bit of rest and relaxation, and romance – kind of like this place in Arles, France. Details are everything
