london, england – day 5

London, on this trip was a pit stop. Not really a place I was particularly  interested in visiting, since it’s one of those cities, if I’ve seen it once, it’s crossed off my bucket list. Sorry if I am offending anyone. I prefer the countryside in the UK, not so much a congested city. Anyway, we arrived on a Saturday evening and after dinner settled in early and watched the Big Bang Theory. I think Sheldon and I were separated at birth. Sunday morning, we took our time getting ready and walked out of our hotel, utterly surprised. London was experiencing, some sort of heat wave and the streets were overly crowded. Then it dawned on me, every local was off work, enjoying the heat and being outdoors. Which made it nearly impossible for the tourists to be out and about, even during slow travel season (or maybe not). We walked for miles, me, worrying mostly at attempting to take the underground or even the over ground transportation, since it felt as though people were hanging out of …

panoramic photography: boredom at its best?

Lately, I’ve sat around and waited it seems forever for people to arrive. Whether because I’m meeting them in a mall for coffee or lunch in  a park . So, outside of checking emails and Facebook and every other non-interesting online distraction, I switched my phone camera to panoramic setting and clicked a few photos, playing I suppose.  🙂

elle decor inspired interior decor

Lately we’ve been considering purchasing a condo in a high rise in San Francisco. You know those buildings popping up everywhere in downtown, which my hubby loves and I consider a glass bubble – those ones. Well, in light of this bit of new development in our life, I decided to seek inspiration on decorating a home with no real walls.  I found some ideas to copy here and have included them on my blog to seek opinion.

photojournaling my commute

I’ve been quiet, I know, for a couple of days. It’s not like me for sure, but you know there are days, when you just stand around waiting for the bus, over and over again, and think – Something needs to change. It’s time to make another change, an upgrade if you will to everything I do. A new wardrobe maybe, a remodel of some sort, a shift in blogging. Something. Something has to change. It’ll come to me, I know it. In the meantime, I snapped these wonderful images with my cell, playing around with the i-phone camera upgrade 🙂
