What are you up to this weekend? I’m looking forward to a game of tennis, a walk across the city, and a trip to Napa and maybe, just maybe, time to myself to cuddle with my dog on the sofa and read one of the many books I’ve stacked up next to the nightstand.
I am having trouble accepting the fact, we are nearly 2 months away from Christmas and the discussions about Thanksgiving feast with family are now in full-planning.
One goal I have set for myself for this weekend and that is to stay away from social media, minus Instagram of course for posting photos, I want to share a few interesting finds online to keep you entertained:
There is a list of seven earth-friendly beauty products to consider using, if you are not a creature of habit like myself.
I’ve started watching this show on Amazon Prime and so far, so interesting. I love the idea of a different story each episode, with a different location and a handful of actors. My favorite so far – episode one. Let me know what you think?
I do love a cup of tea, almost two cups a day at work and two or three cups throughout the day at home over the weekends. I have a collection of teas from Paris and London and of course a few locally sourced (San Francisco) – so I have to say, I got a kick out of this online advertisement. Do you drink tea? What is your favorite recommendation?
The World’s first beer hotel is now up and running and you’re welcome to book a night or two for that special man or woman in your life who loves beer.
The holiday season is fast approaching and the need to bring a dish or dessert to a party is pretty much expected for a potluck. Here’s a suggestion for Italian dessert recipes, just in case, you’ve run out of your own.
After reading The French way to wash your hair, I decided to try the following suggestions: Only apply shampoo to the roots, and conditioner to the tips. And it works. Now I am considering detoxing my scalp – except I am concerned about the hair color washing out. Do you have hair care tips you want to share?
And finally, some architecture and design news which goes something like this – Italian, kitchen design, and Florentine Aesthetic is much appreciated for preserving the past.
Have a great weekend!
