Fashion: 4 out of 8 in Shoes

Shoes that are approved or obsessed over by fashion editors, is a blog entry that naturally caught my attention, mostly because of the top photo. I wanted to see for myself what the fuss is all about since I do love the colors.  And here I found four out of 8 shoes I would incorporate into my daily attire, once the weather shifts from wet to a little warm and sunny. And here’s the rest in case your taste in shoes differs from mine.

Sunday Edition: Depression From Work

Depression comes in many forms and we all know that. But I think the most avoidable is the one we experience at work/from work. Whether too much of it, unrealistic expectations from a boss, or the pressure of fitting in, or liking all the changes taking shape, which could potentially put you out of a job. I believe no one should endure job-related stress – unless of course it is a personal run business. Then that is a choice you have made going into it. If a job makes you feel less than you are, then consider another. If a career no longer fits your style, look elsewhere. Find your happiness, is all I say, or find a way to make your workplace a happy one. Believe me I’ve done it both ways. Left a job that made me feel the worst of me, and altered the one that put me in a happy place. Food: Having Fun Making Sandwiches On A Rainy Saturday Afternoon

I love the rain, especially when there is no storm involved with it – meaning high winds, thunder and any other weirdness – like hail associated with super heavy downpours. And since knowing we are going to have rain for the next several days, I decided to compile a list of films on Netflix, and go grocery shopping for a sandwich-fest afternoon into the evening on Saturday – with beer of course 🙂 and a fattening dessert to booth if I have the room for it. But for now, here’s seven sandwich secrets I found here to share with all of you sandwich lovers to give a try. Here are the suggestions:   More on sandwich crafting ideas go here, and here: And here for gluten-free sandwich ideas: featured image credit and source

How I’ve Stopped Feeling Guilty About Drinking Beer

While in France, I noticed the women ordering a cold tall glass of beer in the afternoons, rather than coffee at a sidewalk cafe and sip while catching up on gossip, I can only imagine, since I have no idea what they are talking about, in French. I was impressed and confused at the trend, because I was always under the impression beer was fattening and not good for you. Recently, I’ve craved beer with every meal but for the life of me could not figure out as to why. But remembering the French women, and the fact, my body seems to know what is good for me I guess, I decided to do some research and here’s what I discovered – 7 backed by science reasons that beer is good for you. So no more guilty feelings, beer has now become my choice of drink: BEER APPARENTLY CONTRIBUTES TO OUR DAILY NUTRIENT INTAKE IT MAY LOWER YOUR RISK OF DIABETES IT MAY MAKE YOUR HEART HEALTHIER IT MAY BUILD STRONGER BONES IT MAY BOOST …
