Haute Couture is probably the most fascinating of all fashion, and the likes of Chanel, Valentino, Ellie Saab, Dior, Versace, and more are displayed so wonderfully on the pages of Bazaar magazine:
I’ve been thinking hard about taking a trip to Paris in the next few weeks, well…because I simply miss it. So while searching the best airfare, and rates at my favorite hotel, I came across this interesting article in Timeout Online of the 21 things not to miss while in Paris in the fall. Which, makes my need to go even better :). Here’s what I would be doing:

Fall is around the corner, in a week or so and some places are already experiencing colder temperatures in the early morning hours, and the orange hues at sunset are surely signs that my favorite time of year is almost here. Although we are in the middle of our Indian Summer in San Francisco, I have been craving soup – not a creamy one but a light, broth and just the right amount of flavors, kind of like this one: Ingredients 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 sweet onion, chopped kosher salt and pepper 4 tomatillos, skin removed and diced 2 carrots, chopped 2 poblano peppers, sliced 3 cups homemade or store-bought red enchilada sauce 3-4 cups low-sodium chicken broth 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 cups fresh corn kernels 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped tortilla chips, avocado, and cheddar for serving lime wedges

Food if you are a local of course, and travel if you fancy burgers and will make a special trip to the US or state-to-state to test-taste all of them.
