Travel: About Los Angeles, CA

Although this articles asks the question – which L.A. neighborhood fits your personality best – I decided to consider the topic a touristy adventure instead.

You see all my life, I’ve aimed to live in this interesting city – because I wanted to get into the movie making business or something close to it – but the chance has never come up. So, hypothetically speaking, if I were to move, I would live in …. neighborhood. (I’ll tell you in a minute, but first, if you plan to travel to California, and I figured most tourists travel through the entire state on one go – this article offers up some interesting places to stay and eat in each unique and well-known neighborhoods.

First up – Malibu

My favorite place to stay is the Malibu Beach Inn. Although not pet-friendly, the hotel is a wonderful option for experiencing a Malibuian lifestyle
When in Malibu, you must eat at Nobu for the finest in sushi and a gastronomical experience you will never forget. And oh, you might also see some stars who live in the neighborhood

Hollywood Of Course

although the hotel stay options are endless, I recommend THE STANDARD Hollywood – to experience the true vibe of the neighborhood

The Highlight Room Grill at Dream Hollywood should be on your list for where to eat.

The Rose – is a must eat at restaurant when in Venice.

Downtown L.A. wasn’t a thing until a decade ago, where the project to boost up this part of town began to take shape and now here we are – one of the hottest neighborhoods to live, work, and eat

Stay in the Freehand Hotel Downtown L.A. if you are feeling the need to experience the hustle and bustle of a booming downtown
One of many restaurant recommends downtown L.A. – Broken Spanish

And my favorite – Manhattan Beach. I’ll move in – in a heartbeat

and walk the mile or so path along the beach/sand and admire the beautiful homes perched along the walkway. One of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Los Angeles with a quiet small town feel in the big city.
Shade Hotel is a pretty good recommend for Manhattan beach to soak in the quiet ambiance while still within driving distance to anywhere L.A. – just ignore the idea of sitting in traffic
So many restaurants and so little time, then consider Love and Salt for an interesting take on Italian – the California style
