Since I live in San Francisco, porch sitting or patio and backyards are seldom a thing. I mean in some neighborhoods maybe – but overall not really. I love a good picnic and although San Francisco is not ideal during the cold-foggy summer months to be outside, we the locals make every effort to drive across the Bay Bridge, or That Golden one to gather with family and friends for a good-old fashioned picnic – holidays or not.
