Shoes that are approved or obsessed over by fashion editors, is a blog entry that naturally caught my attention, mostly because of the top photo. I wanted to see for myself what the fuss is all about since I do love the colors. And here I found four out of 8 shoes I would incorporate into my daily attire, once the weather shifts from wet to a little warm and sunny. And here’s the rest in case your taste in shoes differs from mine.
I really do wish I could pull a Carrie Bradshaw here in San Francisco and walk in to work every day wearing shoes-extraordinaire. But unfortunately, and although I consider myself to be different from all the norm, these shoes don’t fly in a techy city. Anyway, a girl is always entitled to dream: {source}
After many years of wearing high heels, three inches to be exact, to accessorize my business attire while working in the financial district ions ago (not that many ions ago), and now being able to wear flats on most days to work, I’ve come to adore the boot-sandal, which probably is the best thing that ever happened to fashion. The shoes are versatile enough to compliment any outfit, particularly if paired tastefully. (which I will talk about in another blog). Check out my favorites from here
I know most women, who plan to attend some formal event this New Year’s Eve, have already planned out their New Year’s Eve attire. But, just in case the shoes and clutch have not yet been considered, I have included some of my favorite pairing suggestions for 2010. Oh and just in case you are wondering about the photo above left, it is Jimmy Choo – Marine Jeweled evening shoes. I know…breath taking and I wonder where were these shoes when I was in my 20’s?
Not sure how I feel about this particular trend or style, it may work for anyone under 40 and a few women over 40, but the style of wearing thick, colorful socks with ANY shoes for the fall 2010 season is a definite thumbs down for me and should be banned immediately.
