I had a small get-together over the past weekend for a dear  of mine going away party.  There were twenty of us together, minus a couple, who declined the invitation because they had a pre-planned Tahoe ski trip scheduled the same weekend. Which got me thinking about – how fun it would be to plan a trip to Switzerland. Don’t ask why I think the way I do. But I always tend to take something simple and turn it into something more grand. 🙂 Anyway, Gstaad Switzerland popped up when I was searching for a new destination – mind you new, meaning to me. Not to anybody else in the world fully aware of Gstaad. And since I haven’t done my boutique hotel pick for a while, I decided to take this article a step further and include the Grand Hotel Park Gstaad as a place I would stay in this wonderful town for the rich and possibly even the famous.
