There is always room in my life to remodel or change the decor somewhere in the house, keeping life exciting and a little unsettled. I like that 🙂 and although some find my approach a little threatening, I think it’s refreshing. I have always used one extreme color in my decor style of mostly neutral tones, with the intention to change it up each year. The very last time I incorporated a few sharp or edgy colors, tying them in so perfectly that I haven’t had to change it up at all. I stumbled upon these rooms from Elle Decor on Facebook and although, not necessarily my style, I can see myself copying ideas from any one of them to incorporate into my eclectic style of decor.
I can honestly tell you that I cannot pass up the magazine section at any bookstore, especially when I come across Elle Decor. In my opinion, it is the most resourceful, user-friendly, esthetically pleasing and well-organized interior decorating magazine and I love the fact, it is published globally with U.K., Australia and French versions to booth. Anyway, I tend to keep most of my Elle Decor magazines because I feel, like fashion, interior decorating is recyclable and what is considered old news will most likely be new trend in the coming years. Besides my eclectic taste in decor is another reason to keep the magazines.
