Travel: The Best Resorts In The U.S.

I love tourists, especially when I see them about the city (San Francisco) discovering the usual and some venturing out to the avenues to see the beaches, and hopefully a little of the city’s culture outside of the norm. I always feel like I should add my two cents when I see tourists on a street corner, with map fully opened, trying to figure out a bus route. I want to say, hey follow me to my neighborhood and try this restaurant or pub or simply take a walk through the blocks and check out the colorful homes perched along the streets. But I let them be, and only offer up advise when I am asked for direction 🙂 So, dear lovely tourist who are planning a trip to the U.S. – this article is for you – the best resorts in the U.S. for getting back to nature: For more go here

Travel: Beautiful UNESCO Sites For Your Viewing Pleasure

Right about now, the travel bug hits me and it hits me hard – and I start planning and strategizing my travels for this year, aiming at the very least  to include one of these most beautiful UNESCO Sites: {go here for the rest, and tell us if you’ve been to one or more of these destinations}

Boutique Hotel Pick – Soho House – New York, Istanbul, Chicago

I sort of slowed down with my hotel picks over the holidays but I’m starting to get the itch to travel again – as I said many times before, if I could do it full time, I would without a second thought. But for now, traveling is spread across the year. But believe me the dreaming hasn’t stopped, where one day I can simply travel. Here’s a hotel pick – Soho House – New York, Istanbul, and Chicago, perfect decor, elegance, and charm are what come to mind for these home away from home hotels. And the history behind each building is something wonderful to read as well.

Travel: Ancient Caves In Montreal

I think the most fascinating thing about travel is the idea that there is possibly another world under the one we live and travel in. It’s certainly the case in the middle east, Europe, Asia and some places in the U.S. – But recently a discovery was made in Montreal – one of my favorite cities in the world – and the network of ancient caves discovered under this fair city. But if underground doesn’t interest you much, then consider adding the amazing overground destination to your list of places to see this year. Preferably late Spring through Autumn. Take a tour or walk leisurely around the city to discover the rich history, and the blend of the old and new.

Travel: Behind Everything Familiar There Is A Story

Behind everything familiar there is a story worth reading up on, or simply educating yourself for when you are in a position that require small talk or a bit of trivia. Today these stories have sparked my interest and therefore I am sharing with those equally willing to expand their knowledge, or simply need a break from their hectic work day:

Travel: Planning for 2018

My favorite topic and hobby is travel and so I think we best start discussing the subject to plan the most ideal getaways for 2018: Here’s a list of changes to be expected: Checking in will be a thing of the past. Robots will be there to assist you instead, In Flight Wi-Fi will improve. Biometric IDs will integrate, airports will become more pleasant, international travelers will have more choices, you will talk your way onto a plane, the gap between the front of planes to the back will become greater, comparing flight pricing will become more difficult (does this mean we would rely on travel agents again?) Here’s Making It Easier for You This Holiday Season

So much is going on right about now, mostly you thinking what to bake, what to pack, which dessert should you volunteer for and oh that outfit – everything for a number of holiday events you and your loved ones will partake in less than 10 days. If we’re really counting – it’s 8 days. Eight days remaining to the world’s biggest celebration – well perhaps outside of New Years.  Here’s what I’m suggesting:

Travel: 50 Things To Put On Your Bucket List

In terms of Europe that is – because if you include the rest of the world and things to do – the list might just be unobtainable in one’s lifetime – unless you drop everything and just go. Hmmm – not a bad idea 🙂 So here they are in the order of where I’ve been and highly recommend, and what’s on my list of to-do’s and the rest is here: Where I’ve been and highly recommend: Where I am planning to see in the coming year and beyond:
