I have to admit, although I love color, I cannot get enough of black when it comes to fashion. I should have worked for Chanel :). While I was choosing frames for my prescription glasses the other day, I, like everyone else, tried on at least 20 plus pairs before settling on a Tory Burch designer frames. Since they didn’t actually have a sample of the color I chose, I figured I could get online and see first hand the color I chose blindly. While playing on the web, my jaw dropped when I stumbled upon Inslee by Design here. As I scrolled through her collection of beautiful and colorful sketches, I found three which pretty much sum up who I am. The captions are simply my own interpretation of the sketches and have no reflection on Inslee original title for her work.
Well I couldn’t pass up writing about the film I Don’t Know How She Does it, because being a multi-tasking woman myself, I sometimes ask myself “I Don’t Know How I Do It” and I am sure many of you do as well. Finally, and I repeat, finally a film about the realities of a working woman’s life in America and most any where else in the world embracing the same lifestyle as we do here. Anyway, without saying much, watch the trailer so you can see where I am coming from and considering it is Sarah Jessica Parker in the starring role, I am certain the film will put a dent at the box office. I sometime have trouble following fashion and end up putting my own style together based on my favorite colors. I had forgotten how important a child’s graduation is to parents, until of course, I received am email invite a while back to attend one this coming weekend. So, I am excited to report that I am off to catch a flight across the country, so that I can attend the college graduation ceremony for two of my favorite people in the world. Congrats to you both.
