small spaces, meaningful places
Since I choose to live in a studio, mostly because I find it very inspiring as a writer to be in a cozy setting, I appreciate like spaces, I find here and there online.

There is always room in my life to remodel or change the decor somewhere in the house, keeping life exciting and a little unsettled. I like that 🙂 and although some find my approach a little threatening, I think it’s refreshing. With that said, the latest interior decor likes I’d like to consider for my open space loft: {photo sources click here}

It’s funny my hubby was right, three years ago, when we sold out house in Sacramento and moved back to San Francisco. He said, when I expressed how happy I was to downgrade, that I’d get tired of living in a small space and will soon want a bigger one. I shook my head to express my disagreement and settled into the studio apartment, happily. Fast forward three years and I am ready to move, feeling the need to have a bedroom, an office, a spare room, a dedicated eating space and a full size functional kitchen, perhaps even an in-home work-out space. Hmmm, the need to jot down my bucket list for 2014 and beyond. In the meantime, I’ll share with you where I’m going with this: {photo source: click here}
I love it when a company revamps their website for the better, thinking thoroughly about what they need to accomplish to stay competitive without sacrifying quality. I have to say, I was completely surprised and happy to hear Domino Magazine has made a comeback, IN FULL FORCE. They have redesigned their site, so that if you like something they used to create their tastefully unique decor, you can actually click and find the details of that particular product to incorporate into your own style of decor, eliminating all guesswork. I am inspired, inching even closer to what I need to acomplish to achieve my personal goals. Thank you Domino Magazine for filling my head with ideas. {Click here to buy Domino’s Holiday edition}
I stumbled upon these rooms from Elle Decor on Facebook and although, not necessarily my style, I can see myself copying ideas from any one of them to incorporate into my eclectic style of decor.
I’m very observant and see everything, but there are times, what I see once, I want to see twice. If you know what I mean: 🙂
