getting ready for a trip and what to wear

Normally I travel in the warmer months, sort of intentionally so I don’t have to pack sweaters, boots and coats in my carry on. But, this year, even my trips abroad is  turned around and I’m leaving much sooner than I planned, clocking my arrival across the pond, in the winter/not really spring season. So, packing is a challenge of course since I need to figure out how to dress warm and comfy, without hauling too much.  Of course, these outfits are a must: {photos and credit, click here}

fun fact tuesday: gents in a suit

Love the casual wear concept in the city (being San Francisco for those who aren’t familiar with the true name locals refer to San Francisco).  Anyway, casual wear makes for a comfortable work day, somehow psychologically allowing you to work longer than your normal 8-5. Hmmm no wonder so many companies here have adapted to the idea. But, once in a while I’d love to see a man in a suit, walking about downtown, mostly of course in the financial district, dressed pristine. 🙂

for the love of a woman – gift ideas

I always think it would be fun for a man to put together a casual ensemble for the love of the woman in his life, 🙂 and even if it’s a mere copy of the one below – the gesture is welcomed: 1. fashion: in between sweaters

We’ve had strange weather, I’m sure like most other places around the world lately. So, although I’m ready for sweaters, I have in the recent weeks layered mostly to stay in tune with the hourly weather changes in San Francisco. In between sweaters, I call, light sweaters. A perfect fashion piece for us Californians with mild winters. Here are some of my favorites:
