Late Summer Early Autumn Street Style – For San Francisco

I’ve seen these images being circulated online on different sites for a few  days now. But  I was glad to discover that 31 of them were compiled on a list in one location – here – as late Summer Early Autumn Style, I’m guessing all snapped in the streets of New York. Fashion: Here We Go – What I’d Wear

We get our summer right about now – September to November so not wearing white after Labor Day really doesn’t apply to San Francisco gals. We wear what we wear according to the weather, or at least I do, and a few other women I see walking about town on a work day. Either way, I love this site, and pretty much find myself trending most of the style Ariel models on her blog, with the exception of the beautiful shoes, which I have no problem owning, just have trouble pulling it off  in techy San Francisco.

Check out some of  my favorites. {source}

I love it when I see a period film perfectly detailing the fashion for  the period (50-60s) and  I think for me Mad Men was the best until just recently I discovered Velvet, a soap opera from Spain. The show is pretty cheesy, in a funny and cute sort of way, and I have grown to love all of the actors passing through, or staying on so far in Season 2 on Netflix. Also perks on brushing up on my Spanish of course. But what I love the most is the show is based on a department store in Spain competing with the likes of Dior and Chanel, introducing to us the best of fashion, haute couture anyone can wish for or imagine.  I love it when a show gets it right in costumes and in Velvet’s case, set decor as …
