I did a complete hairstyle change back in April and regretted it the minute I walked out of the salon. Meaning to say, I wore my hair pretty long and only trimmed it here and there. But in April, I chopped off 3 inches of my hair and since my natural do is pretty curly, the straightening style I wore forever didn’t work. Finally, it’s growing back, but not enough yet for me to go in for a trim. Meanwhile my bangs are growing out, longer than this pic of me and you know what I kinda like it. So before I step foot in a salon again for that much needed trim, I am contemplating about the bangs based on this:
In the 90’s the midi skirt and knee boots were a thing – in terms of fashion. And what I appreciate the most is, women who kept the look trending throughout the years – until now it’s back in style:
Finally, high rise jeans that do not cost an arm and a leg, for when you simply want to wear jeans. In my case, nearly e-v-e-r-y day.
Just yesterday I had lunch with a friend and we were talking about fashion trends and how expensive it is to keep up with the ever changing look and the pressure we women put on ourselves to stay fresh and modern even while we take our dog out for a walk. Well, there is a list Who,What,Wear put out hoping to aid in search of that great buy or the trendy look at a budget – which – makes you look expensive. SOLD!!!

I’m in the process of ‘summer cleaning’ my closet. It’s a tough project, but someone has to do it. My problem is letting go of pieces I know will make a come back. Or those items that are made well. But…I also recognize the fact, I need a major overhaul in everything concerning my life recently. Closet cleanup is a good place to start…with tops from here:
