my style sense defined through other bloggers

As many of you may or may not know, bloggers have their personal list of bloggers whom they follow, and occasionally refer to them in their own blogs, admiring and appreciating common interests, sense of style, decor, recipes and more. So with that said, I will share with you two of my favorite bloggers who I appreciate for their fashion sense, very similar to mine.  Somethingblue  from New York, and 9to5chic from San Francisco.

fashion week and favorite designers

Fashion week, whether  in New York, Paris, London, Milan and more, is one naturally most of us tune into, anxiously waiting to see what the new styles and suggestions are. From it all I can’t decide if Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter is my favorite. In any case, here are some of my favorites all bundled and one click away from a more detailed look.

shoes – mostly flats for a san francisco gal

I had a busy weekend, mostly celebrating mothers days of course, so I didn’t get a chance to catch up on my weekly blog posts. No matter. I decided to focus on shoes this morning, while I commuted to work on a warm sunny day in the city. Since most of us in San Francisco try to walk everywhere possible – well mostly in the downtown area, we consider flats our choice of shoes. Although a while ago, I used to use flats to get to work and then change into high heels. But since then, the shoe industry ‘wisened up’ enough to realize, flats can also be a sexy alternative to any outfit, and definitely more practical. So, in light of that fact, I have chosen some of my favorites from here for a not-so-dressy work wear or in our city casual dress code attire.
