Too soon you say? Well maybe or maybe not. But Burberry, one of my favorite designer of coats and umbrellas is decorating the Christmas tree at Claridge. News I considered necessary to share for all those interested in the smallest or huge details happening around the world. I can’t wait to see the real photos in true Burberry fashion and color scheme.
Do you ever just walk into a store, a restaurant, or a hotel simply to admire the chic architecture or design? Well, I do, and for that bit of revelation I have added some of the best designs I’ve seen in far and away places, chronicled in the webpages of my favorite Architectural Digest magazine.
I love the idea of an apartment, and getting the chance to renovate a 1200 square foot apartment for a friend early 2016 is the first exciting thing I am looking forward to next year. In light of that notion, I have been researching online and in stores for ideas to revamp a dull apartment located in a 1970’s building. So you’ve just bought your first home, or perhaps even an apartment you’ve rented in a trendy city like San Francisco (notice how I did that, or like me, is looking for an update of a current space. Where do you start? Here are some helpful sites offering up info on how to consider the right paint, best picture hanging strategies, and various other details potentially pretty overwhelming.
Sundays I usually stay away from the internet. It’s my way of trying to stay stress-free for at least one day a week if possible by avoiding al news about anything and everything. Sunday is my day to go for long walks, have lunch somewhere preferably an outdoor cafe or a picnic and then hang out in a touristy part of the city. I suppose seeking inspiration every way I can organically, rather than sitting in front of a computer screen. This Sunday and the coming week however, I volunteered to watch two dogs for someone who lives out in the country-I laugh, and so my day is a little mixed up, having nothing to do but sit in front of the computer in a house cooled down by AC. Not at all interested in going outside in the hundred plus degree temperatures. So this is what I found interesting:
