I love mom-and-pop bookstores and will stop dead in my tracks anytime to walk into one and take note of what to read next. First I check out the top staff recommends, then the ones that are on the best bookseller list and then I head back to sections and pick the ones I plan to actually read. As I’ve mentioned before I was a travel agent at one point in my life, and I have to say that was one of my favorite jobs – you know – making people feel good by traveling. Out company, although mostly for student travel, we also offered up adventure travel – past the typical tours, we specialized in booking folks on adventures of all types – and each time we sent someone off on one of those speciality adventures, they came back raving, and wanting to book more. In line with this topic, I have found a pretty good site for those interested in soft adventure, or one that is rigorous, for families or without, groups or thrill seekers. Check out what I mean:
