interior decor: red, white and black
You know how they say, interior decor inspirations come from nature, well mostly that is. In my opinion, the ideas could come from almost anything and anywhere. The first time I visited Disneyland, I have to say I was completely mesmerized by Mickey and Mickey mouse’s color choices and since then I have always be infatuated with any decor which remind me of that period in my life. traditional holiday gift wrapping
To me Christmas time is all about keeping tradition and although we’ve been now conditioned to shop online or have the gifts wrapped by someone from the store, I think it’s always nice to, along with putting some thought into buying a creative gift, to gift wrap them yourself. Here are some of my favorite unique gift wraps which also border line eco friendliness.
fashion: get the look anywhere
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you duplicate a fashion ensemble from discount racks or clothing warehouses, as long as it’s chic and stylish.:) So, here’s to the woman who knows what she wants and goes out and gets it without breaking the bank and for that, here are some of my favorites (at the moment) I plan to duplicate .
healthy snacking: pumpkin granola – seasonal
Since I’ve been on this healthy diet and eating kick, I am always searching for ways to create a better version of what I can buy processed from a grocery store. Here’s one, which, I think I can either use as a snack or eat it with my almond milk as cereal. Pumpkin Granola: 2 cups Rolled Oats (scoop this up from the bulk aisle! In a bowl, bring all ingredients together and mix thoroughly. Evenly spread mixture out on a baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes until golden-browning occurs. A good gage is to look at the color of your raisins, for they cook fast. If they look really dark like the way mine did- you’re done. Your …

road trip and a need to pamper myself
This past week I haven’t been able to focus much on the creative aspect of my life and rather stayed on track with work and managing a home. I actually hate that but someone has to do it. 🙂 So, in order to break the monotony, I signed up for a day of pampering myself and then volunteered to escort a dear person in my life on a 48hour road trip to pick up a puppy. I am hoping both experiences will enlighten me enough to get inspired so that I can bounce back to my old creative self again. Stay tuned to see what the outcome is.

nostalgic for picture perfect winter
Since I live in San Francisco and seldom go up to Lake Tahoe, I have to say I am nostalgic for what I creatively refer to as picture perfect winter days. You know the kind that looks amazing in photos but not so amazing when you live through it. That kind and just incase you don’t know what I am talking about, please see below 🙂
